Whew! What a weekend! Long post to follow...

Area 1 AC&C was a 'Roaring' success! 🦁
The Valley Voices had a great hit on stage, had bucket loads of fun and were thrilled with our contest performance and our second place finish! Thank you to all our coaches this past year (Jordan Travis, Joe Cerutti, Steve Tramack and Renee Tramack) for helping us to continue our growth journey.
Because we sang early in the contest this year, we also loved being able to cheer for all the other contestants and be entertained by their wonderful performances! Congratulations to Seaside A Ca****la for their beautiful performance and their first ever Championship win. 👏👏👏 (We got to experience that for the first time last year, and it feels really great!)
Our members in Flourish - Quartet had a BIG weekend! Their quartet contest performance was stunning, winning them First place and the honour of being crowned 'Area 1 Quartet Champions'! Kelly, Fatima, Carrie and Jennifer Green, we couldn't be prouder! 👏👏👏
Congratulations to Sister Q for a great performance in your first quartet contest! You rocked it! 🎶
It was also wonderful to hear our reigning Harmony, Inc. Harmony Queens, Synergy quartet as they Mic tested for the quartet contest and sang on Fun Night. Area 1 is so proud of you all! 👑👑👑👑
Congratulations also to all the other award winners, including our MBHA friends in Atlantic Blend quartet and Kaleidoscope Chorus. 👏👏👏
Thank you to our wonderful judges for traveling to Area 1 and sharing your insights and experience with us. We are truly grateful! 💕
One of the main highlights of this weekend was getting to spend time together learning, singing and laughing with each other and our friends from around the Atlantic provinces. Thank you to the AC&C Convention team and to Island A Ca****la for hosting such a fabulous weekend!

What a fabulous Friends and Family night we had last night before heading off to our Harmony, Inc. Area 1 Convention and Contest. Thank you to our amazing audience for your tremendous support! Your cheers and standing ovations made us feel like a million dollars!

The merry month of May has begun in earnest for the Valley Voices as we prepare for Area 1 AC&C (Area Convention and Contests) in just a few weeks. We started the month by taking a moment to honour our administrative leaders. We thanked our outgoing Board of Directors and welcomed our incoming Board at our special Installation Ceremony on May 1st.
Our volunteers are amazing, and they help to keep our organization running efficiently at every level. Congratulations to our new Chapter President, Karen Price and our new Board of Directors! 👏🌻👏🌻👏

Our Valley Voices members are working hard in their 'Geographical Pods' to be ready for Area 1 AC&C! We draw members from far and wide, not just the Valley, so sometimes it's fun to get together with others who live close to you and have a rehearsal together. And of course, there are always delicious snacks on hand and a fun time had by all!
Thank you to all the musical leaders who have stepped up to run these smaller 'pod' rehearsals, and the admin folks for arranging the logistics! 🌻

The Valley Voices had a wonderful time singing at the Hantsport Baptist Church last weekend. We were welcomed warmly by Church volunteers, including our own member Beth as well as Assistant Pastor, Jackson. We performed some of our favourite songs, and then our very own Flourish quartet entertained the audience! Many thanks to our Assistant Directors, Paula and Trinda for directing and leading the evening. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the chance to socialize afterwards with tea, coffee, and delicious snacks! 🌻

Join us this Sunday, April 26 at 11:00 a.m. as Mark Riley shares his music during the service. Fellowship will follow right after—bring a snack to share if you’re able!

Then come back in the evening!
The talented Valley Voices will be performing at 6:00 p.m.
