More fun and frolics at our Tuesday rehearsal this week. We're getting ready for our coaching weekend with Samantha Tramack in September, and we are so excited! 😁
We also said farewell to two of our chorus members this week~ Inga and Trish. We will miss you, and we wish you the very best of luck as you move on to your next adventures! 🌻

The Valley Voices had a great rehearsal last night! It's fun digging into our music and cleaning up sections. Hearing chords ringing like never before is so satisfying! 💛🌻🎶

🌭🍔 BBQ FUNDRAISER AND 50/50! 🍔🌭

Come and support the Valley Voices A Ca****la Chorus BBQ and 50/50 fundraiser this Saturday, August 15th, between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm at the Sobeys, New Minas.

Lots of goodies to eat and drink, and an excellent way to support the arts in Nova Scotia! Thank you for all your continued support of our amazing chorus community. 🌻

Another Tuesday rehearsal saw another fun evening together! Octet tap-outs, reviewing our contest music, fabulous warm ups, and lots of news and announcements made for a busy evening! Plus ... there were cakes! 🧁🍪🍰

This weekend saw another amazing Summer retreat for our stellar Music Committee! So many exciting plans for the year ahead. Thank you to our musical leadership for your continued drive and hard work. Also thank you to Carrie for hosting this event. 🌻

It was great to get back to rehearsals last night, and we welcomed a surprise visitor ~ Dr. Phil Roberts, director of Newfound Sound chorus, who's currently enjoying a bike ride around Nova Scotia! Thanks for stopping by, Phil! 😁

We also welcomed a first time guest last night ~ Dawn. We hope you enjoyed the evening, and look forward to seeing you again soon!

It feels so good to be back and working towards our busy Fall season! 🌻

Delicious weekend BBQs, 50/50 sales at the Valley Drive-In, and 'toonie counting' in Kentville have kept many of our chorus members busy during the month of July! Thank you to everyone who has organized or supported these fundraising efforts.
Watch this space for even more 'FUNdrsaising' opportunities as we head back to rehearsals and the start of our new singing season next Tuesday! 🎶❤️👏🌻
