After a quick drive around Town, the Dandelion crop is very healthy this year! Please help CONTROL the spread of these plants by ensuring grass stays mowed to prevent the blooms from going to seed.

If chemical spray is not an option, there are home remedies that have been proven to work.
*Spraying the plant leaves with a mixture of isopropyl alcohol or vinegar and water on sunny days will kill the plant
*Boiling water poured directly on dandelions can kill leaves and roots; follow by pulling out the dead roots.

Preventive Lawn Care
Maintaining a thick, healthy lawn reduces dandelion establishment. Regular mowing, proper fertilization, and adequate watering help grass outcompete weeds.

POSTPONED!! - WATER DISRUPTION - Friday, May 29

Public Works has postponed the project to a future date. Affected properties will be notified of the new date once it is determined. Thank you for your coopertation!

Homes located along 45 Avenue (mid-block going east) to mid 49 Street (north) - will have no water service for approximately 30-45 minutes beginning at about 11:00am.

*Public Works will be delivering notices to your door should your home be affected. Please feel free to ask any questions at that time.
