On Wednesday, June 17th from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Caregivers Alberta will be hosting a free webinar via Zoom titled “Your Community Pharmacist: A Partner in Caregiving.”

Led by a practicing pharmacist, this session will highlight the valuable role pharmacists play in helping caregivers navigate the day-to-day challenges of caregiving and medication management.
Caregivers will learn how pharmacists can offer practical direction, informed recommendations, and direct help in areas such as:
✅Medication management and organization
✅Identifying and addressing potential medication-related concerns
✅Improving medication adherence and safety
✅Understanding prescriptions, side effects, and treatment plans
✅Accessing additional healthcare supports and services
✅Answering health-related questions and helping caregivers make well-grounded decisions

The webinar will also explore how stronger collaboration between caregivers and pharmacists can improve communication, reduce uncertainty, and create a more coordinated and confident caregiving experience.

Pharmacists are often one of the most accessible healthcare professionals within a community and can serve as a trusted source of ongoing advice, education, and assistance for caregivers as care needs evolve over time.
