We’re excited to share a new partnership between the Killarney Lake Action Committee and the Municipality of Killarney–Turtle Mountain to support lake health initiatives.

This pilot project includes the installation of monitoring probes and buoy-based equipment in Killarney Lake. The probes will track important water conditions like oxygen levels, temperature, and algae activity, while the buoy-mounted system will actively help increase oxygen levels in the water.

The information gathered will help guide future decisions and ongoing efforts to protect and improve this important community resource.

Next time you visit the Killarney-Turtle Mountain cemetery, you'll notice some helpful updates on the grounds!

The municipality has installed a new directory sign. You can now simply scan the QR code on the sign with your smartphone to instantly find specific burial locations.

To ensure the safety and respect of everyone on the grounds, we have implemented new speed limit signs indicating a maximum speed of 10 km/h.
