A big 'THANK YOU' to Lisa Cox of Recreation Sites and Trails BC in Cranbrook!

Lisa approved sending a machine to improve the road access to our Alki Creek trailhead!

The road surface has been graded and Alder bushes cut back, making the approach much more user friendly. The Alki Creek trail is now available to hikers driving any vehicle.

Thanks to our volunteers who put in about 12 man-days of work the Alki Creek Trail is now clear including the Murphy route!

Once the snow goes from the upper levels we will do a sweep with a light saw to clear any remaining deadfall.

On to Pyramid!
