Sun West seeks a Behaviour Intervention Worker for Westberry Elementary School in Kindersley. This is a permanent position, 6 hours per day, every student day, starting August 31, 2026.
The Behaviour Intervention Worker (BIW) supports students with complex behavioural, social-emotional, and developmental needs within a specialized classroom setting. Working collaboratively with the classroom teacher, and school-based Learning Support Team, the BIW provides direct student support, assists in the development and implementation of individualized behaviour and learning plans, and helps foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, the ability to respond effectively to crisis situations, and a commitment to student-centered, evidence-based practices.
