A reminder that the Kingston Humane Society is closed today for Thanksgiving. We will reopen Wednesday, October 14th.

As we reflect on all that we're thankful for, we're especially grateful for our incredible community of adopters, foster families, volunteers, donors, and supporters who help make a difference in the lives of animals every day. ๐Ÿพโค๏ธ

And speaking of gratitude... we'd love nothing more than for Diesel to have something extra special to be thankful for this year: a forever home. ๐Ÿก

This sweet 8-year-old boy has been patiently waiting since May for the right family to find him. Diesel is featured in today's graphic, and while we're closed, we're hoping his story reaches someone who can give him the loving home he deserves.

Thank you for being part of our community and for helping animals like Diesel get their second chance.

๐Ÿถ Interested in learning more about Diesel? Keep an eye on our page and website for adoption information.

Happy Foster Friday! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿพ
Foster Found! โœ”๏ธ

โœจ This week's foster highlight is Sherrilee! ๐Ÿ’•

โ€ข Sherrilee is a first-time KHS foster and has been doing an absolutely amazing job with Orzo! ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’•

โ€ข She has been fostering Orzo since April, and Orzo is now up for adoption and ready to find her forever home. ๐Ÿก๐Ÿ’—

โ€ข Orzo has experienced some skin flare-ups, and Sherrilee has gone above and beyond to make sure she receives her medication every single dayโ€”even when itโ€™s not an easy task! ๐Ÿฉบ๐Ÿพ

โ€ข Thanks to Sherrileeโ€™s patience, care, and dedication, Orzo has finally come out of her shell and is much more comfortable in her foster home. Sheโ€™s no longer the shy girl she once was! ๐Ÿ’•

๐Ÿ’› Thank you, Sherrilee, for opening your home to Orzo and giving her the patience and care she needed to blossom. Weโ€™re so grateful to have you as part of the KHS foster family! ๐ŸŒŸ
