BFO-Kingston offers peer grief support to those who have experienced the death of someone important in their life. Support is provided virtually or in-person. If you are interested in one-to-one support or in attending a monthly peer support group, please contact the office by calling 613-634-1230, emailing [email protected] or sending us a direct message.

Today is International Overdose Awareness Day, an annual observance to remember, without stigma, those who have died or suffered permanent injury from drug overdose. We acknowledge the grief of loved ones left behind and recommit to ending overdose and ending stigma.

BFO-Kingston is so fortunate to be part of Charitable Gaming. Community Good. Funds raised at Play Gaming & Entertainment help support our programs and make a difference in our community. We recently were able to use some of those funds to purchase a new TV to improve the hybrid meeting experience for our participants and facilitators!

GRIEFY CRAFTERNOON with BFO-Kingston

You are invited to bring a crafting project you're working on, or use our supplies. Make a craft in memory of your person, or just because. Share memories of your person while you craft, talk about something completely unrelated, or work on your project in silence. This is a very informal drop-in program that meets on the second Tueday of each month at 1:30pm. Everyone is welcome, and we will meet you where you're at - in terms of your grief and your crafting!

No registration required and no fee. We are located at Providence Village (1200 Princess St.); come in through the Main Entrance and reception will direct you to our space.
