Teck Centennial Public Library is incredibly grateful to the Freemasons of Ontario Doric Lodge No. 623 AF & AM, Kirkland Lake, for their generous $15,000 donation to our Raise the Roof campaign! ❤️

When you’re working to protect something as important as a public library, a gift like this means more than words can express. It reminds us why this work matters & gives us renewed hope for the future.

For 97 years, the library has served Kirkland Lake, growing alongside our community & providing a place to learn, explore, create, & connect. A public library belongs to everyone; it represents opportunities for our children, resources for our families, connection for our neighbours, & a shared space our whole community can be proud of. Donating to the library means investing directly in the people of Kirkland Lake & protecting something that belongs to us all!

But to keep our doors open, we need a safe building. Our failing roof has caused significant damage & forced closures, putting the spaces & services our community relies on at risk. The reality is simple: no roof, no library. We cannot protect what happens inside without first protecting the building itself.

This incredible $15,000 gift brings us closer to our fundraising goal & helps secure the library’s future for generations to come.

To the members of Doric Lodge No. 623, thank you for believing in our library & investing in its future. A donation like this truly shows the heart of your organization & the difference that community-minded generosity can make. Your support means so much to us & to the people this library serves!

Pictured are Bart Seaton, Arvind Aggarwal, Jase McNaughton, & Mark Wooldridge representing Doric Lodge No. 623, alongside library CEO Cheryl Lafreniere & Director of Strategic Initiatives/Executive Assistant to the CEO Jordan Ayres. The smiles are big for a reason! ❤️

Please join us in thanking the Freemasons of Doric Lodge No. 623 for this incredible gift! Leave them some love in the comments & help us celebrate those investing in our shared future. ❤️👏
