The Rural Municipality has been approved as an eligible assistance area under the Provincial Disaster Assistance Program (PDAP) for damages resulting from the heavy rain and wind that occurred June 6–9, 2026.
Residents, agricultural producers, businesses, and organizations that experienced uninsurable losses may be eligible to submit a claim through PDAP.
⏰ Important Deadline:
All completed claims must be returned to PDAP by December 9, 2026.
To support your claim, keep detailed written and photographic records of all damages and recovery efforts.
Describe the situation:
• When and where the damage occurred
• The extent of the damage
• Actions taken immediately following the event
📸 Take Detailed Photos:
• Photograph all damaged property and areas
• Date and label photos whenever possible
• Include photos of emergency repairs and materials used
📋 Keep a Work Log:
• Hours worked
• Who completed the work
• What work was performed
• Equipment used and hours operated (pumps, fans, chainsaws, wet/dry vacs, etc.)
• Any temporary measures taken to prevent further damage or loss
Maintaining thorough records will help ensure your claim can be processed as efficiently as possible.
