4th and final day of the 2013 Festival! Looking forward to a lively interactive discussion on Oshii, the stray dog of anime; PERSISTENCE OF VISION, a brilliant documentary on Richard Williams and the making of the film THE THIEF AND THE COBBLER; the contemplative THE ART OF HAPPINESS; and Brazil's RIO 2096.

The Opening Day edition of the Festival's email newsletter is now out, for your reading pleasure.

The Festival will be opening with the delightful family film ERNEST AND CELESTINE. Based on Gabrielle Vincent's wonderful children's book series, Aubier, Patar and Renner have created a beautifully-crafted and emotional film.

A reminder that this is the last chance to win a free festival pass for 2013 or 2014! The draw will happen at 6pm.

We regret to inform that due to circumstances outside of our control, EVANGELION 3.0 will not be playing at WFAC 2013.

It is a bitter disappointment for us, and we're certain, a bitter disappointment for our fans.

We will announce its replacement in the schedule as soon as possible.

We hope that fans will enjoy the rest of an outstanding lineup of films at this year's festival.

As those who have been watching our YouTube channel may have already guessed, we are welcoming a new addition to the WFAC lineup today: Alfredo Soderguit's brilliant ANINA, based on his own lauded children's book ANINA YATAY SALAS.

ANINA is Uruguay's entry for Best Foreign Language Film in the upcoming 86th Academy Awards.
