The Kitimat RCMP would like to express their appreciation to the Kitimat Museum & Archives for hosting the RCMP Family Day on Saturday, May 23rd.

It was an amazing way to spend a Saturday and not only enjoy the families that came down, but also celebrate the 153rd anniversary of the Force.

The museum employees did a fantastic job planning for the day and entertaining everyone. The displays and activities were very educational and enjoyable.

Thank you again for everything you do!

The Kitimat RCMP is very honored and excited to have been invited to the Kitimat Museum & Archives for RCMP Family Day on May 23rd. Come down between 1-4 and learn some RCMP history, ask questions, play some games, do activities, get some photos and enjoy a BBQ and Ice Cream. See you there!

Are you a night Owl?

The Kitimat RCMP has vacancies for independent individuals able to manage flexible work hours to fill the position of Guard at the detachment. This position is casual, on-call, as needed, anytime during the day or night including weekends. Shifts range from 4 to 8 hours, sometimes up to 12 hours.

The Guard position primarily involves maintaining the safety, security and dignity of the persons in the care of the RCMP.
