Our Story

Swift Care Ontario is dedicated to providing care for species at risk, specializing primarily in Chimney Swifts, Barn Swallows, Bank Swallows, Eastern Whip-poor-wills and Common Nighthawks. Swift Care Ontario is committed to following the best practices possible in compassionately treating each orphaned, abandoned or injured bird received. The successful rehabilitation and release of well-prepared birds plays a vital role in supplementing wild populations, which are currently experiencing serious, ongoing declines. Through the provision of rehabilitation services, Swift Care Ontario, in collaboration with researchers, aims to make a worthwhile contribution to the well-being of these fascinating birds and to species at risk in general.
