Our Ready For School summer groups are almost over 👩🏻‍🏫 🍎

We've been having so much fun with the kids in each community, learning different skills to prepare for school.
They are all looking forward to starting kindergarten soon!

Over the past 3 weeks, our team has been visiting Kindergarten groups in different communities to practice important fine motor skills!

Activities worked on:
🖐️ Muscle strength
🖐️ Hand-eye coordination
🖐️ Pencil control
🖐️ Scissor control

So far, the group activities have happened in Kuujjuaq, Kangiqsualujjuaq and Kangirsuk. Quaqtaq and Kangiqsujuaq will be seeing us soon ☺️

Thanks to all that joined us on Friday to celebrate the start of the holidays 🎄
And especially thank you to Santa that stopped by with lots of goodies for everyone 🎁 🎅🏻

FAMILIES WITH YOUNG KIDS IN KUUJJUAQ
Come to building 5207 (blue building in front of Kuujjuaq Inn) between 3-6PM this afternoon (Thursday Dec 11) to take a break from your devices and:
- decorate cookies 🍪
- play games 🎲
- make some crafts 🎨

Everyone that comes is entered in a draw for a prize 🎁
