Sanajiit Project Follow us to learn about trainings, job opportunities and career development!

The Sanajiit Project is an initiative of the Kativik Regional Government (KRG) for Inuit apprentice and journeyperson to building capacity for Nunavik construction industry. The goal of the Sanajiit Project for Inuit apprentice and journeyman construction workers is to develop a strong and autonomous mostly regional construction workforce. To accomplish this, the Department organizes general works

ite health and safety courses in different communities and promotes trades training at the Nunavimmi Pigiursavik Training Centre in Inukjuak. In cooperation with the commission de la construction du Quebec (CCQ), the Department also tracks the training received by individuals, their availability to work, and their registered working hours. Information on available workers and financial incentive for hiring sanajiit is also disseminated among contractors.

All Hudson Bay communities are welcome to join. Travelling to go on May 24 and return on May 30.
