The DeltaLearns Stretch programs are held in English here in Ladner at Delta Manor during school hours. There are several different programs that they can apply for but they can only be accepted into one. Check it out and see what they are interested in! They dont necessarily need to be exceptional in that area, but rather show a passion for it. Acceptance into the program depends on number of applicants. Apply by June 8, please note that some programs do require a bit of work to be submitted as well as the student should ask their teacher to complete the teacher nomination.

This is a day camp where campers enjoy sports, arts and activities in a French language environment! Lots of indoor and outdoor activities, art, French books and games. Camp includes a cool French t-shirt! French is the primary language spoken in the camp so campers require minimum 1 year of French Immersion or equivalent. The camp is for grade 1 – grade 7 kids.

Camp is held at the Jubilee United Church, Upper floor, located 5 mins walk from David Gray Park, a quiet community park in South Burnaby, equipped with playground, spray park and playing field, where campers will spend most of their time.

Discover Math Magic!

Brought to you by the LE PAC, join us for an evening of play and problem-solving for the whole family! The students k-7 will see the magic during the day and then bring their families back to continue in the evening.

There will be a range of activities geared towards all ages and all skill levels.

Whether you stay for one puzzle or join us for the entire festival, we’re looking forward to seeing you for an evening of joyful math!

We definitely felt appreciated this morning❤️

Whether you arrive at Ladner El from the side, back or front of the school, staff was there to greet you and provide treats and coffee ☕️🧁 They even brought it to car windows 🤩 And while you snacked, the grade 7 band played beautiful songs 🎶

All the treats were thoughtfully brought in by many different staff members - I saw the sign up sheet in the staff room and it was packed 🥰

If you wondered what was the yellow fencing is all about, it’s for the garden area! The ground needed to dry out before construction on the drainage could begin. Today was the day!!! Next Wednesday is the projected completion date and the next steps for the garden construction are to begin.

Last June, Ladner El staff, the project manager and a couple PAC reps got together to discuss the new garden and outdoor learning area. We look forward to seeing what will transpire and will let you know how the PAC is involved! If you’re interested in joining the garden committee, email us at [email protected]

The line up seemed huge at 5:30 but it went SO fast and was gone by 5:45 🤯 I couldn’t believe that he did it all by himself, this guy is AMAZING! 🤩

Thank you for helping us fundraiser for our PAC and thank you to all that ordered!!! Hope your freezers are filled for summer and we will see you again in the fall.
