Did you know? 🤔 As per Interior Health, certain foods can be repackaged in your home! They need to be labeled (what it is, brand, best before date) and - of course - hands are wash thoroughly washed before handling.
✅Dry goods (rice, pasta, flour, sugar, salt, cereal, etc.)
❎Ready-to-eat items (crackers, chips, etc.) - but we accept unopened packages!

Thanks to our volunteers - Dawn, Randi, Sandra & Shona - who gave their time and energy to make 36 perogie casseroles and 19 Shepherd’s Pies for the Lake Country Community Fridge.🩷 The food will be slowly dispersed over the coming weeks into the community fridge for community members in need to enjoy. Thank you for making Lake Country a warmer, kinder place!
