🌱 Community Compost Opportunity 🌱

As part of our weekly reFRESH market, we receive donated fruits and vegetables from a variety of local sources. While we work hard to sort and distribute as much as possible, some produce is unfortunately too ripe, mouldy, or damaged for consumption.

This leaves us with a regular supply of organic material, sometimes exceeding our storage capacity.

We're wondering if any local community members, gardeners, farms, schools, community gardens, or organizations would be interested in receiving this material for composting purposes.

If you have a composting system and would like to help us divert food waste while creating something useful, please send us a message or comment below as we'd love to connect!

Ideally, you would provide two sets of large totes that we could use while sorting the produce and those would be what you pick up.

Please e-mail us at [email protected] if you are interested in this opportunity. Thank you for helping us reduce waste and support a more sustainable community! 🌎 ♻️
