Bears are busy this time of year, spending up to 20 hours a day feeding to fuel up for the months ahead. When you’re out exploring, you’re stepping into their dining room.
Here’s how to be a respectful guest:
🥾 Travel in groups and make noise as you hike (yes, your bear safe small talk helps!)
Give them space.
🧴 Carry bear spray and keep it easily accessible
🐕 Keep dogs on a leash
🥪 Pack out everything you pack in
