ALL CANDIDATES MEETING

Plan to attend the All-candidates’ meeting for Douro-Dummer Township on Saturday October 17th being hosted by the White Lake Association and the Upper Stoney Lake Association at the Crowe’s Landing Pavilion.

This is your chance to hear firsthand from the candidates about issues that directly affect you and their plans for the future of Douro-Dummer Township. The meeting is scheduled to get underway at 10:30 a.m. Light refreshments will be provided.

A Little Stoney Lake Rock & Roll — Tonight at the Pavilion

There’s music in Stoney Lake’s DNA, and tonight we get to celebrate it.

Join us at the Pavilion for a special USLA Social featuring Stoney Lake’s own Leah Hawkins, singer-songwriter and daughter of Canadian rock & roll legend Ronnie Hawkins.

The Hawkins family has been part of Stoney Lake for generations, and music has always been part of that story. Ronnie’s legendary Stoney Lake home became a gathering place for musicians and friends, with everyone from Gordon Lightfoot and Kris Kristofferson to members of Blue Rodeo and The Sadies making music there over the years.

Tonight, Leah carries a little of that musical tradition over to another place with its own long history of music on the lake: the USLA Pavilion.

Come by for a drink, catch up with old Stoney friends, meet some new ones, and enjoy a live performance from one of our own.
