Langley Hospice also operates their Second Story Treasures Thrift Store in Walnut Grove, open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm. This is a unique collaboration with the Fraser Valley Potters Guild, where guests receive a hand-crafted tumbler to enjoy a lovely array of beverages, and hors d'oeuvres provided by Chef and culinary team at Harrison Pointe, accompanied by live music with the talented Alex Whittaker, a live and silent auction, and short program.

planning ahead before a health crisis is something all of us should do. Yet, less than 50% of Canadians have had conversations with their family and friends, and even less have spoken with their doctor. Many people don’t know how to begin - while others are unaware of the importance.

Join us on Saturday, October 24th for our Planning for the Future Workshop, hosted by Langley Hospice Society and the Langley Community Health & Hospital Foundation at the Langley Meals on Wheels location on the 2nd floor at 2900 - 272nd Street in Aldergrove.

This is an interactive workshop where you can learn together with friends and family as we discuss the concept of advanced care planning, substitute decision-making for healthcare decisions, and provide insight and resources to start and continue the advanced care planning process.
