Meet Levi Eadie one of our AIA staff👋🏽
Levi loves the calling God has placed on his life because it feels so specially tailored to who he is. Growing up, sport was a huge part of his identity. He believed that if he achieved enough as a basketball player, a student, a friend, and a member of his community, he would finally be happy and feel like enough.
But the scholarships, grades, and affirmation still left him feeling empty.
Everything changed one evening in May 2022 when his dad shared John 3:30 with him:
“He must become greater; I must become less.”
That night, Levi realized the gospel wasn’t about his performance or what he could build. It was about what Jesus had already done for him.
Years later, God began showing Levi that his sport and his story could be used for something bigger.
Through Athletes in Action, he now gets to build bridges between families and the church through camps, after-school programs, clubs, and coach training.
Levi and his wife, Abi, have packed their bags and started a new chapter in Sooke, BC, where they’re serving athletes, families, coaches, and churches across Vancouver Island.
“I get to train coaches to use sport for something bigger than themselves or the game: advancing the Gospel across Vancouver Island.”
God doesn’t waste the things he’s given us. He can use our sport, our story, and our passions to build bridges to Him.
