There's something new you should know about this year's Local Government Election in Langley City!

Instead of one ballot, eligible Langley City voters can help inform incoming Council whether to continue planning to expand recreation, arts and cultural facilities on a separate, non-binding Community Opinion Vote ballot.

These facility expansions are:
🏊‍♀️Al Anderson Memorial Pool to provide year-round access
⛹️Timms Community Centre, combined with a new Performing Arts & Culture Centre

Want to try a new class or fit a workout into a busy week? Single-session fitness classes let you register for individual sessions, so you can choose the classes that work for you.

Here are a few options to get you moving:

🧸 Cuddles & Crunches
Thursdays | 3:45pm - 4:30pm

💃 Zumba + Lift
Mondays | 4:45pm - 5:45pm

🏀 Court-Fit
Thursdays | 1:00pm - 1:45pm

🧘 Pilates Sculpt
Wednesdays | 5:15pm - 6:15pm

New registration process: Online registration opens at 10pm, 4 days before each class.

✨ Thanksgiving Day Hours - Monday, October 12, 2026 ✨

Langley City Hall, the Operations Centre, Douglas Recreation & Child Care Centre, and the Langley City Library will be closed on Monday, October 12, 2026.

Timms Community Centre will be open from 10:00am–3:00pm.
