Our friends at the Gananoque Public Library have a special guest for their TD Summer Reading Club_Club de lecture d'été TD launch this Friday! Then he'll be swimming on over to visit us for June 25th so you can come visit in the Lansdowne Community Hall from 1-6:30pm and check out the River Map for yourself!

Big News! We’re Now Aura Loop Enabled!

We are thrilled to announce a major step forward in making the Leeds and the Thousand Islands Public Library fully accessible to everyone! We are now offering Aura Loop assistive listening devices for our hearing-impaired patrons.

Whether you are attending a guest lecture, participating in a workshop, or just having a detailed conversation with our staff, this new technology ensures you won’t miss a word.

How it works:
The Aura Loop system transmits clear, amplified sound directly to compatible hearing aids and cochlear implants (via telecoil/T-coil) or to receivers located at our circulation desks .

Why this matters:
We believe the library is a hub for community connection and lifelong learning. Everyone deserves the opportunity to fully engage and participate. We are proud to remove communication barriers and welcome all voices.
