📢 Public Notice – Town of Lark Harbour 📢

The Town of Lark Harbour would like to advise residents that, due to ongoing Phase 5 Water & Sewer Construction, you may notice elevated chlorine levels in the community water supply over the coming days. This is a normal part of maintaining water quality and ensuring the safety of the system during construction activities.

While the water remains safe for normal use and consumption, some residents may notice a stronger chlorine taste or odor than usual.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as this important infrastructure project continues. These upgrades are being completed to enhance and improve water and sewer services for our community.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we work to build a stronger and more reliable system for the residents of Lark Harbour.

🌟 New Addition to Our Playground! 🌟

We are excited to announce the installation of a new Communication Board at our community playground!

This board is designed to help children with disabilities communicate more easily while playing, making our playground a more inclusive and welcoming space for everyone. Through pictures, symbols, and words, children can express their needs, feelings, and ideas, helping them engage more fully with friends, family, and caregivers.

We are grateful to have received funding for this project through the Newfoundland and Labrador Accessibility Grant Program, which supports initiatives that improve accessibility and inclusion in communities across the province.

A huge thank you goes out to Affordable Contracting for generously donating their labour, equipment, and time to install the board free of charge. Their support and commitment to our community helped make this important project possible.

Please join us in showing our appreciation to everyone involved in bringing this project to life. Together, we are helping create a playground where every child has the opportunity to play, communicate, and belong. ❤️
