🚸 Crossing Guard Appreciation Week 🚸

This week, June 1st to June 5th, The LaSalle Police Service proudly recognize and thank the incredible crossing guards who help keep our community safe every single day.
Rain or shine, early mornings and busy afternoons, you stand at intersections with unwavering dedication. You ensure that children and families make it safely across the road. Your presence brings peace of mind to parents, confidence to young students, and strength to our community.
From the bottom of our hearts, Thank You for your commitment, your care, and your service.

On Saturday, May 23, 2026, Deputy Chief Woods, alongside Commissioner Carrique and other members of the Ontario Provincial Police and members of the Windsor Police Service , completed a 107 km ride as part of the Tour de Force series. Honouring those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
Sr. Constable Williams, along with Chief Crowley, members of the Windsor Police Service, and the Ontario Provincial Police, took part in the 55 km ride, also in support of this meaningful event.
Despite cold, wet, and windy conditions, every participant pushed through and successfully completed their ride.
Through unity, respect, and determination, we ride to ensure their legacy lives on.
All proceeds from the event were donated to Survivors of Law Enforcement (SOLE) and the Ontario Police Memorial Foundation.
A sincere thank you to St. Clair College for hosting this year’s event.
