What do I do with my pets during an evacuation?

Residents who are evacuating on their own should take their pets with them whenever possible. If they cannot transport their pets, they should make sure someone can access their home to provide basic care, such as food and water. Residents should bring any pet supplies, medications, and important records with them. Additional pet care arrangements may be made depending on the situation and available resources.

We have not been provided any new fire information to report.

Lodgings and transportation out of the community during an evacuation is most important but what should you bring with you when evacuating?

When evacuating, residents should bring essential items.
• Bring medications and medical supplies along with a
prescription list
• Bring your personal identification
• Pack important documents and valuables
• Don’t forget chargers, clothes and personal care items
