What an incredible session it's been! Congratulations to all of our swimmers for their hard work, and all the progress they've made in the pool. 🌊

Nicholas Sheran Pool will not run lessons for the remainder of the summer but you can check out our availabilities at Stan Siwik, Fritz Sick, or Henderson Outdoor Pool!

Neon Night AquaFit is almost here!

Join us at Henderson Outdoor Pool on Friday, July 31, from 7:00–8:00pm for a one-of-a-kind aquafit experience! Led by the always enthusiastic Diech, this high-energy class combines great music, an exciting atmosphere, and an incredible workout.

Throw on your brightest neon gear, bring your best energy, and get ready to light up the pool! 🤩

Spots are filling up, so don't wait to register! Registration is $7.00 per person, and pre-registration is required (membership passes cannot be used for this class).

It's the first day of summer session 2!

As the session gets underway, be sure to keep an eye on our important lesson dates throughout the set, including progress interview days, and parent participation. We can't wait to see everyone's hard work this session! 😁

‼️ UPCOMING CLOSURE ‼️

From August 4th until the beginning of November, Nicholas Sheran will be temporarily closed to allow for facility upgrades, including the installation of a new HVAC system, as well as annual pool maintenance. Our last day for programming will be Sunday, August 2nd, as we will not be open for Heritage Day.

During this shutdown, programming and swimming lessons will be relocated to Fritz Sick Pool. With registration around the corner, this is a friendly reminder that there will be no lessons at Nicholas Sheran Pool. When registering online, please ensure you are selecting the “Fritz Sick Pool” tab to view SS3 and SS4 lessons.

Please note that the August to November programming schedule at Fritz Sick Pool is temporary and is a direct result of the Nicholas Sheran Pool closure. Regular programming at Fritz Sick Pool will resume once Nicholas Sheran Pool reopens, which is anticipated in November 2026.

Our team is working diligently to accommodate all of our guests. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to improve the facility.

Get your red-and-white gear, slather on some SPF, and bring out your favourite lawn chair because Canada is celebrating its 159th birthday! 🇨🇦 While our indoor pools will be closed, there's still tons of fun waiting for you at Henderson Lake Park. Stop by Henderson Outdoor Pool for a refreshing escape from the heat and enjoy a relaxing swim.

With spring swimming lessons now wrapped up, we’ve added extra evening open swim and lane swim times! Enjoy extended access to the hot tub and sauna during these hours.

Summer lesson registration is just around the corner! ☀️ This year, we’re doing things a little differently—registration will initially open for Session 1 and Session 2 only. Sessions 3 and 4 will open for registration in July.

Registration will open by facility, meaning that on each date, only lessons for the specified pool(s) will be available.

Here are a few tips to help make registration day easier:

✅ Double-check your information, selected time, and swim level before checking out

✅ Setting up a family account ahead of time can make the process faster and smoother. If you don’t have one yet, visit aquatics.lethbridge.ca and click the HELP button in the top right corner for a step-by-step guide

✅ Not sure which swim level is right for your child? You can find the Current Swim Ability chart on our website under the Programs section
