🌟 The Big Spotlight! 🌟
This month, we’re shining a light on the amazing volunteers who help make the magic happen. This week… meet Carrigan!
Carrigan is a graduate student at the University of Lethbridge, where she does some seriously cool science—exploring whether we can manipulate the biological machines inside cells! She’s also been a Big since September 2024, sharing her curiosity and enthusiasm with her Littles in group mentoring.
She became a mentor to give back and connect with her community in a meaningful way—and spending time with her Littles has brought her plenty of joy!
Carrigan loves how the kids see the best in themselves and each other, reminding us that we have plenty to learn from them, too. Their enthusiasm for fun games is another perk—because adults also deserve a little playtime!
Her advice to anyone thinking about becoming a Big? “Definitely do it!”
“They will appreciate your time and chats just as much as you do!”
Thank you, Carrigan, for bringing your curiosity, kindness, and playful spirit to mentoring. You make a BIG difference! 🫶
Ready to make time for fun, connection, and a little inspiration? Send us a message to learn about becoming a Big!
