Welcome to Men's Sheds, where we build and promote a welcoming space for men to connect, create and socialize in a positive environment.

We're a grassroots men’s health movement grounded in the spirit of camaraderie and the power of community.

From all of us at Men's Sheds, Happy Thanksgiving! 🍂 What an incredible year it’s been so far, and what an honour it’s been to serve our community.

To our members, volunteers, sponsors, supporters and families: thank you. Every coffee shared, story told, helping hand and project completed has helped build a place where men can connect, contribute and belong.

We’re grateful for the friendships formed, the laughter around the table, and the community that keeps showing up for one another.

Wishing you and your loved ones a wonderful Thanksgiving. There’s always room for another chair at our table.

This recognition belongs to the men, volunteers, supporters, partners, and community members who continue to show up, contribute, connect, and help build something meaningful together.

We are truly honoured by the nomination and look forward to accepting this recognition in November. Thank you to everyone who continues to believe in and support the work of Men’s Sheds. It means more than we can say.

We seriously love receiving photos of our painted birdhouses in the community. This was completed by one of our friends at St Michael's Covenant Health.

A huge thank you to Bill Ginther, Executive Director of the Lethbridge Soup Kitchen, for joining us for coffee and an excellent conversation about the important work their organization is doing in our community.

Bill gave us a candid, brass-tacks look at the realities of operating a frontline community organization - the challenges of dealing with homelessness and addictions in the community, and opportunities where organizations like Men's Sheds may be able to roll up our sleeves and help, particularly through future volunteer alignment.

The energy in the room was fantastic, with another big turnout of 36 attendees!

These are the conversations we value: community organizations sitting around the same table, sharing what they’re seeing, learning from one another, and looking for practical ways to make a difference together.

Thank you to all the organizations and volunteers across our community who continue to show up and do the good work.

Now - back to work we go. Message us with any questions.

We’re looking forward to welcoming Bill Ginther, Executive Director of the Lethbridge Soup Kitchen, to Men's Sheds this Wednesday morning for coffee and conversation.

Bill will be joining us to share more about the important work of the Lethbridge Soup Kitchen, the impact they’re making in our community, and the people they serve every day.

Just as importantly, we’re excited to explore ways our two organizations can work together through future volunteering and community service opportunities.

Our Wednesday coffee gatherings are open to men of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’ve been coming for months or you’re thinking about dropping in for the first time, you’re always welcome.
