Join the Lethbridge Constituency Associations for the ridings' Annual General Meeting.

This is a great opportunity to learn about the work we need to do to win the next election and meet the folks who are letting their names stand for positions on the Executive and Members at Large. The board is responsible for organizing all the Alberta NDP activities to prepare for the next election campaign, ranging from connecting with voters, hosting social events, recruiting volunteers and raising money.

If you’re new to party politics, and want to get more involved, this is a great place to start, and we are always looking for more help.

To vote or run for the Executive (President, Treasurer, etc.) and join the board you must hold an active Alberta NDP membership.

June is National Indigenous History Month, a time to recognize the cultures, traditions, histories, and unyielding resilience of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.

I encourage everyone to attend local events in your community if you’re able, and to take time to reflect on the histories that shape this province. There is always more to understand, especially at a time when treaty rights are presently under attack. Let us be reminded that the responsibilities to respect and uphold the Treaties, including Charter rights and the duty of governments to consult with Indigenous Peoples, are fundamental to the advancement of our province and country.

To Indigenous Peoples across this province, your cultures, your histories, and your leadership are vital. And we won’t stop until Indigenous rights are respected and true partnership is a reality.

Trans March
June 14, 2026 Sunday 1-3pm
Gather at Galt Gardens & march to City Hall
FREE

This march is so important, especially after the many efforts in the past year to erase, censor, and harm our trans community all around the world; this march signifies the strength we have in numbers and to honor our trans community.

We will start by gathering at the Galt Garden’s park by the stage area prior to 1pm and then march to Lethbridge City Hall.

We encourage you all to get dressed up in your best pride gear, make signs, bring flags, and just feel free to express yourself and your “pride” the best way you know how!

All are welcome, but please remember to exercise responsible allyship and recognize that the voices of the trans community take precedence in this space.
