Summer break starts this week so we had a little party to celebrate. Lots of games and prizes, Tim's donuts (a special request) a great feed of Mary Brown's (cooked to perfection, ready on time and excellent service!), a beautiful and tasty cake (kudos to the bakery team at Independent!) and lots of laughs throughout the day!
Special thanks to Deb Nicholas for all of her help! (We would hire her in a heartbeat!) Wishing everyone a fabulous summer!

It is with profound sadness that we learned of Graham Norman's passing. One of Calypso's founders, Graham was a kind, compassionate advocate for inclusion and acceptance. His patience, sense of humor and ability to recite poetry were always evident whenever our paths crossed. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of our Dad at age 92 years. Predeceased by his wife Phyllis, his parents, Captain Bill and Evelyn Norman, his sister Nita Spencer, his brother in law Austin Piercey, and other extended relatives. Leaving to mourn, his loving family, sister

The busy season has started at the Green Depot and our staff are working hard to count and sort the huge volume of recycling we receive on a daily basis.

You can help speed up the process by:
-removing garbage, straws and caps
- draining liquids
- only bring eligible beverage containers
