The HUB has volunteers stepping up and are ready to help those affected by the forest fires.

If you know of someone who could use an extra set of hands, please let us know.

Please send us a message ([email protected]) or tag someone who could use some help. We'll do our best to connect our volunteers with those who need them most.

We're thinking of everyone impacted by the fires and are grateful to all the firefighters, emergency crews, staff and volunteers working so hard to keep our communities safe.

We're excited to have copies of 'Landkeeping: Restoring Indigenous Fire Stewardship and Ecological Partnerships' now available at the HUB.
This important book explores Indigenous fire stewardship, ecological partnerships, and caring for the land through traditional knowledge. We're especially proud that Gerald (Bobo) Michel is featured in the book. Gerald is a respected Xwísten Council member, Lands Resource Liaison, and environmental steward whose knowledge and work have had a lasting impact on land stewardship in our region.
Copies are available at the HUB for $60 each. If you're interested in Indigenous knowledge, local history, or caring for the land, this is a valuable addition to your library.
