On the Page – New play-reading and discussion group!

It’s like a book club, only with popular plays. We read them aloud, discuss, and enjoy them without the pressure of an audition or performance. Acting experience is not necessary – just a love of good stories.

The first meeting is expected in the next few weeks and will cover the classic “On Golden Pond.” (If the title sounds familiar – it was made into a movie in 1981 starring Katherine Hepburn, Henry Fonda, and his daughter Jane Fonda.)

On the Stage – Auditions coming up!

The next production is an adaptation of O. Henry’s classic – ‘Gift of the Magi.’

We are looking for 1 male and 3 females ages 16+. Auditions will be held Saturday, September 19 from 1-3pm in the upper level of Listowel Public Library. No appointment necessary – you can just drop in.

See you in a week at the North Perth Teddy Bear Playday! It's June 20 from 12-3 in the big park in Listowel. Come by our booth to see who's in costume, pick up a puppet craft and find out more about our group! One week to go - see you soon!

There will be a short update meeting on Tuesday, April 28 at 6:30pm at the library to go over plans for the Teddy Bear Playday on Saturday, June 20, review the scripts that are going around, and make future plans.

We could use more help for the Teddy Bear Playday - if you are available for an hour or two on June 20th (in the big park in Listowel, between 11am-3pm) please send a message as soon as possible.

If you picked up a new script at the last meeting, please bring it to Tuesday's meeting so we can exchange them. If you have a script or ideas to share and can't make it Tuesday, send a message here and we'll sort it out.
