✨ Community Support Highlight: Free Tuesday Dinners at Knox Church! ✨

Knox Presbyterian Church Listowel is offering free community dinners every Tuesday from 5–6 PM throughout June and July.

No registration, no requirements — just a welcoming meal for anyone who could use one.

For many families, this can be a huge help:

• A chance to stretch the meals you need to make at home
• A buffer for the weeks when food bank items didn’t last as long as hoped
• A warm, friendly place to connect with others in our community

✨ Nourishing Connections
A welcoming space for moms (and moms‑to‑be) to share a meal, build community, and access practical support. Whether you’re looking for connection, guidance, or just a place to exhale, you’re welcome here.

🧺 Care Closet
Our Care Closet provides clothing, essentials, and resources for moms and little ones — completely free, no barriers, no judgment. If you need a few things to prepare for baby, we’re here.

🌟 High School Volunteers — We’re Looking for You! 🌟

Rise & Thrive is looking for a Grade 11 or 12 student who needs community volunteer hours and is passionate about supporting moms and young families in North Perth.

We’re looking for someone who can help with:

• Preparing documents
• Prepping for our monthly meetings
• Running our Padlet system
• Drafting social media posts
• Keeping our Care Closet organized

This is a great opportunity for students interested in early childhood education, social work, community services, or nonprofit work.

The time commitment is flexible and would be roughly 4-6 hours a month and can be split up through-out the month as needed.

Due to the nature of our program and the moms we support, we are seeking a female student for this role.

🌸 Our Mother’s Day Sweater Fundraiser is officially closed! 🌸

A huge thank you to everyone who placed an order and supported Rise & Thrive. Your kindness directly strengthens our programs and the moms we walk alongside.

We also want to extend a special thank‑you to Beatty Design for partnering with us and creating such beautiful sweaters for this fundraiser.

Because of your support, we were able to raise $273 toward our programming and our Care Closet — helping ensure moms and their children have access to the resources they need.

Moms of all ages with little ones ages 0–6, we’d love to have you join us tonight for our Rise & Thrive Nourishing Connections meeting!

We’ll be welcoming Angie, a Registered Dietitian from Nourish Your True Self, for a relaxed, informative discussion about food choices, feeding our little ones, and caring for ourselves as moms.
