Village of Lomond

Village of Lomond G.R. Plumb opened the area’s first post office in 1910, and it was known as Brunetta. To view more information regarding Lomond’s 100th in 2016.

With the arrival of the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1914, the post office shifted to the new town site and was renamed Lomond, presumably for Loch Lomond in Scotland.

1916 – Lomond became a village. https://www.facebook.com/VillageofLomond/about_details

🗓️ Save the date!

We understand how fast the calendar can fill up with all the upcoming excitement! With that being said, we would like to officially announce Lomond is bringing back our renowned Cabaret but with a twist.
Lomond will be hosting a Casino themed benefit banquet set for November 7th 2026.
Tickets will be limited, and early bird access is set to start August 1 at the Lomond Ball Tournament.
This fundraiser will benefit our upcoming health and wellness center.

Spread the word, and mark your calendars as this is not an event to miss! We are willing to "bet" on it!

We cannot wait to see you there!
