When community comes together, generosity becomes hope, kindness becomes action, and no neighbour has to feel forgotten.

The Ark invites you to Holiday Big Give: An Evening of Warmth — an evening dedicated to sharing meals, meaningful stories, and community coming together to make a difference.

Your support helps turn compassion into action, because warmth is more than a temperature. 💛

🚨 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TONIGHT!

Have a little time to give this evening? We could use a few extra helping hands for tonight’s dinner service at Ark Aid Street Mission!

Every meal served is more than nourishment. It’s an opportunity to offer warmth, dignity, connection and care to someone in our community.

If you're available to help tonight, you can sign-up for a spot here: https://signup.com/go/MPrXnuM

This Thanksgiving, we're grateful for the power of community.

At Ark Aid Street Mission, gratitude looks a little different. It's found in a warm meal shared, a helping hand extended, a moment of connection, and the simple reminder that no one has to face life's challenges alone.

We're thankful for the volunteers, donors, community partners, and frontline staff who show up with compassion and care, day after day.

But today, we're also reminded that Thanksgiving isn't a time of abundance for everyone. For many of our neighbours experiencing homelessness, poverty, and hardship, the need for warmth, nourishment, dignity, and belonging doesn't take a holiday.

As we gather with loved ones, may we remember the importance of making room at the table (and in our hearts) for those who need community most.

Because everyone deserves a place to belong.

From all of us at Ark Aid Street Mission, Happy Thanksgiving.

This year, we have decided to take a slightly different approach to the Ride for Refuge.

Instead of hosting a single centralized event on October 3, we are encouraging all our wonderful team captains, riders, and donors to gather with your teams, friends, and families to create and complete your own personal route! 🚴

Whether you choose a scenic trail, a quiet neighborhood loop, or a route that holds special meaning for your group, we invite you to ride, walk, or roll in community on your own terms.

There's still time to register and donate! Visit arkaidmission.ca/events
