Another great day of celebrating the people who make PHSS what it is! 💙

Our Executive Team and Leads continued their visits to locations today, connecting with staff and dropping off a little Staff Appreciation gift along the way.

It’s been great getting out and spending time with the incredible staff who bring so much care, energy, and dedication to what they do every day. We hope you’re feeling the appreciation this week!

We also got to celebrate Abiodun, this year’s recipient of the Volunteer Award! 🏆

This award recognizes a volunteer who has made a positive impact on a person supported and the team, and we’re so happy to recognize Abiodun for the time and care he brings to PHSS.

Congratulations, Abiodun! And thank you to all of our staff and volunteers who bring so much to our locations each and every day. 💙

It’s Staff Appreciation Week at PHSS! 💙🎉

This week is all about celebrating the incredible staff who make what we do possible every single day. Their dedication, compassion, care, and commitment that help the people we support live the best lives possible. From the big moments to the everyday ones, the difference you make matters, and this week we get to celebrate all of our incredible staff!

There’s lots happening throughout the week, including Staff Appreciation Awards, special visits, a few surprises, and some messages from the people we support.

Chelsey, Jim and Michelle had a great time at the 5th Annual Fierce N Fit Boxing's Charity Gala this weekend! 🥊✨

All three join in each week for Fierce N Fit’s virtual boxing sessions, so it was great to get together in person for a night of celebration, dancing and spending time with the Fierce N Fit community.

Chrissy and Elias recently spent the weekend in Niagara Falls! 🌊

They packed plenty into their trip, taking in the Falls from the Maid of the Mist, spending some time on Clifton Hill, having dinner at the Rainforest Cafe, and visiting Bird Kingdom the next morning before heading home.

A friends getaway was something they had been looking forward to, and Niagara Falls was a great place to make it happen. A fun couple of days exploring, trying new things, and enjoying time away with a good friend! 💙

We are proud to announce that PHSS Support Services has been awarded a four-year accreditation by the Canadian Centre for Accreditation (CCA).

This achievement recognizes PHSS's commitment to excellence in governance, leadership, and community support services. Accreditation is based on nationally recognized best practice standards and reflects our ongoing dedication to quality improvement, accountability, and person-centred supports.

Happy Labour Day!🍁

Today, we recognize the generations of workers who have helped shape Canada and the many ways their skills, dedication, and contributions help strengthen our communities every day.

It’s also a chance to appreciate the people whose work strengthens our workplaces, services, and communities every day.

Kailey, Christine, Taunua, and Madison decided to do something a little different with their raised garden beds this year and turned them into a fairy garden!

Kailey has had so much fun bringing it together, collecting little pieces along the way and DIYing many of the decorations themselves. The best part? It’s easy to maintain, gives them a chance to get creative, and makes for a beautiful space to enjoy all season long. ✨🌸
