Western Model United Nations Western Model United Nations was established in 1997 for Western students to gather and debate pertinent world issues.

As we head into the final weeks of the semester, election season has officially begun!

We are now accepting nominations for:
• President
• VP Internal Events
• VP Socials
• VP Training
• VP Finance
• VP Communications
• Head Delegate
• Secretary General

This is your opportunity to shape the direction of WESMUN and take on a leadership role within the team. Members may run for up to two positions.

🗓 Nominations: March 17 → March 22 at 3:00 PM (no late submissions)
🎤 Campaign Period: March 22 at 3:00 PM → March 27 at 11:59 PM
🗳 Voting: March 27 at 11:59 PM → March 29 at 5:00 PM

The Western Model United Nations Club proudly stands in solidarity with the Goose & Dove Initiative, a campus-wide movement calling on Western University to adopt a human rights–aligned investment policy.

As a club grounded in diplomacy and international relations, we believe that our institution must reflect the global standards it teaches: investing responsibly, ethically, and in accordance with international law.

The Goose & Dove Initiative represents an important step toward accountability and progress. It’s time for divestment from corporations complicit in human rights violations, and for Western to lead with integrity on the world stage. 🌍
