What’s better than storytime? Storytime with the author! 📖

Join us for a special morning at the Library! Children’s author Casey Lyall is coming to Central Library for a double-header storytime featuring her newest picture books, Whale, That Was Unexpected and I Used to Be a Dinosaur.

Get ready for lots of laughs, fun activities, a chance to meet Casey herself and get your books signed. Books will also be available for purchase from Little Wren Books.

With help from the Byron-Springbank Legion Branch 533, completed cards will be delivered in time for Remembrance Day.

We kicked off Ontario Public Library Week bright and early with a visit from Michelle Arbuckle, Executive Director of the ontariolibraryassociation, and Dina Stevens, Executive Director of the Federation of Ontario Public Libraries.

Michelle and Dina joined CBC London Morning to talk about the important role public libraries play in our communities, the difference they make in people’s lives, and why strong partnerships with all levels of government matter.
