Join us Saturday, August 22 from noon to 5 p.m. for a one-day celebration of local talent, art, and heritage! 🎨 Enjoy a day at the ranch and watch artists take part in our plein air (outdoor) paint out. Artists are free to interpret the landscape and essence of the Bar U in their own unique style. Meet the artists, explore unique works inspired by ranching life and western landscapes, and take in the beauty of Bar U Ranch National Historic Site.

‼️The Ranch Rodeo on Sunday, August 16 is cancelled due to weather.

Recent precipitation has left the arena wet, muddy, and potentially dangerous for rodeo participants and livestock.

Despite the event cancellation, the site remains open to visitors. Daily operations have not been affected. Stay tuned to our page for information about an alternate date.
