The Town Hall will be closed for the remainder of the day. The council meeting that was scheduled for tonight will be rescheduled for early next week. The exact date will be posted on our website.

Notice to Residents of Lumsden and Lumsden North:

Tomorrow, June 4th, 2026 there is work scheduled to be done on the water line at Lumsden North. Traffic will be reduced to one lane while this work is being carried out. This may take several hours to complete. If anyone has any questions or concerns please call the Town Office at 709-530-2309. Our office is open 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Regular Garbage Collection will be Postponed until Wednesday May 27th.

Information and reminders for waste collection during Clean-Up Week:

- All cardboard must be broken down and bagged in a blue recycling bag.

- The town will not be accepting paint cans, or other household hazardous waste.

Any waste placed for pickup, that does not follow these rules, will not be collected.

Grading operations will be taking place on Lumsden North Road in the near future. Please be cautious when entering and exiting the area as equipment may be operating.
