One bottle, plenty of possibilities.

Our Rhubarb Esprit is bright, tart and just sweet enough, and there’s more than one way to enjoy it!

Keep it simple - Sip it on its own, chilled or over ice, and let the rhubarb shine.

Add some fizz - Mix with soda over ice for an easy, refreshing drink, or add a splash to your favourite white w**e spritzer.

Shake things up - Rhubarb Esprit adds a bright, fruity twist to all kinds of cocktails. Try it in a Rhubarb Daisy:

1 1/2oz Ironworks Gin
3/4oz Rhubarb Esprit
3/4oz lemon juice
1/4oz simple syrup

Shake well with ice and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Save for some dessert - Drizzle it over vanilla ice cream, pair it with fresh fruit, or experiment with it in your favourite desserts.

Behind the Bottle: Rhubarb Esprit

One of the surest signs of a Nova Scotia summer is fresh rhubarb, and we've captured that unmistakable flavour in a bottle.

Crafted in Lunenburg from locally grown rhubarb, our Rhubarb Esprit is bright, crisp, and wonderfully aromatic. Fashioned to preserve the vibrant character of the fruit, it delivers fresh rhubarb notes balanced by a clean, dry finish.

Whether you're lengthening it with sparkling water, mixing it into a refreshing summer cocktail, or adding a twist to a classic, Rhubarb Esprit brings a taste of the season to every glass.

Behind the Bottle: Rum Boat Rum

Taste the difference quality ingredients, craftsmanship and ocean aging can make.

Inspired by Nova Scotia's rich rum-running history, Rum Boat Rum is our tribute to the spirit that once travelled these shores.

Distilled in Lunenburg from molasses and aged in oak barrels aboard Black Beauty, our floating barge moored in Lunenburg Harbour, Rum Boat Rum offers notes of toffee, vanilla, fig, and oak.

Whether you're shaking up a Daiquiri, mixing up a punch, or simply pouring a glass at the end of the day, Rum Boat Rum brings a little piece of Nova Scotia's history to every glass.

Fermented, distilled, and aged at Ironworks Distillery in historic Lunenburg.

Light, crisp, and made for warm afternoons.

The Pear Collins lets the delicate fruit notes of our Pear Eau de Vie shine, balanced with bright lemon, a touch of sweetness, and sparkling w**e. It's refreshing, elegant, and just the thing to enjoy on the patio.

Pear Collins

1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
3/4 oz honey syrup
1 1/2 oz Ironworks Pear Eau de Vie

PREPARATION

Add the Pear Eau de Vie, lemon juice, and simple syrup to a shaker with ice. Shake until well chilled and strain into an ice-filled Collins glass.
Top with 2 oz of your favourite Nova Scotian fine sparkling w**e.
Garnish with slices of fresh pear.

Simple ingredients. Bright flavours. A classic Collins with an Ironworks twist.

Ever wondered how the pear gets into the bottle?

Each spring, we hang 750 mL bottles over tiny pears at Boates Farm in Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley, allowing the fruit to grow naturally inside the bottle throughout the season.

In September, the bottles are harvested, cleaned, and filled with our handcrafted Pear Eau de Vie, distilled from ripe Bartlett, Anjou, and Clara Frijs pears. The result is as much a conversation piece as it is a spirit: crisp, aromatic, and unmistakably Nova Scotian.

It's a process that takes patience, a little ingenuity, and a lot of care, but we think the finished bottle is worth the wait.

Have you ever seen a pear grow inside a bottle?

The Heart of Ironworks.

Behind every bottle of Ironworks spirits is Berghitta, our beloved copper still.

For all 16 years of Ironworks Distillery's history, Berghitta has been at the centre of it all. She's distilled thousands of batches over the years, and helped create countless bottles of rum, gin, brandy, and wh**ky.

While trends come and go, Berghitta keeps doing what she does best: turning quality ingredients into quality spirits.

Some businesses have mascots. We have a still.

And frankly, we think that's much cooler.

Behind the Bottle: Ironworks Vodka

Long before our wh**ky filled barrels and our rum found its way into glasses across the province, there was Ironworks Vodka, one of the original spirits that helped put our little distillery on the map.

Made from locally grown Nova Scotia apples and crafted in Lunenburg, it offers a smooth, clean profile with a subtle hint of the fruit it comes from. It's a vodka that reflects both its ingredients and its place of origin.

From Martinis and Cosmos to simple vodka sodas, Ironworks Vodka is a versatile staple that has been with us from day one, 16 years ago.

Fermented and distilled at Ironworks Distillery in historic Lunenburg.
