-LPS received (3) suspicious vehicle, activity, persons reports

-LPS responded to an incident involving an aircraft

-LPS received a general driving complaint

-LPS received (3) impaired driving complaints. In one such incident, a driver was removed from the road due to excessive fatigue.

-LPS issued a three-day licence suspension and vehicle impoundment to a motorist who was found to be above the provincial limit for alcohol consumption

-LPS received (4) Bylaw complaints

-LPS received a report of mischief under $5000. The complaint was unfounded.

-LPS received (2) alarm calls

-LPS responded to a break and enter resulting in theft under $5000

-LPS received (2) mental health calls for service

-LPS received an abandoned vehicle complaint

-LPS received a request to keep the peace

-LPS received a report of a grass fire

-LPS responded to a report of a cyclist causing a road safety hazard

-LPS responded to a fi****ms complaint

-LPS received a report of a family dispute

-LPS received (3) reports of suspicious activity/vehicles/persons

-LPS provided a courtesy transport for one female

-LPS received multiple scam complaints of people receiving text messages claiming that they have been charged with a traffic offence (Reminder- you will never be charged with an offence via text message, or email)

-LPS received a noise complaint

-LPS responded to (4) alarm calls

-LPS received (2) neighbour dispute reports
(One of the matters was referred to an outside agency)

-LPS provided assistance to a broken down motorist

-LPS received (1) general driving complaint

-LPS received (2) impaired driving complaints (The subjects were located and sobriety tests were performed. No charges were laid.)

-LPS received a report of a Break & Enter and Theft under $5000. (Insufficient evidence to proceed.)

-LPS performed a wellness check at the request of the public

-LPS received a request to keep the peace

-LPS received a report of a missing person. The person was located safe a short time later.

-LPS received a report from a concerned citizen of a pedestrian walking in traffic. The male subject was located and spoken to.

-LPS responded to a fight between two males

-A 21 year old male is facing numerous traffic charges after a motor vehicle collision in Luseland

-While patrolling Luseland, LPS located and arrested a 24 year old male wanted out of the Moose Jaw Police Service

-A 22 year old female was arrested and charged with Uttering Threats

-A 47 year old male was arrested after a motor vehicle collision and is facing the following charges:
*Operation of a conveyance while impaired
*Exceeding 80mg%

***PUBLIC ALERT***

Attempted theft of motor vehicle

Last night in Luseland there was an attempted auto theft. Please ensure all vehicle doors are locked, windows are closed, and keys are not left in vehicles. Remove all items of value from your vehicle.

If possible keep vehicles on your driveway and in well lit areas.

If you have surveillance cameras within the area of Grand Avenue and Russell Street we kindly ask that you contact our police service.

Help us deter criminal activity in our community and bring those responsible to justice.

The Luseland Police Service is aware of an on-going scam in which the victim will receive an email “claiming” to be from law enforcement, usually the RCMP.

These scam emails may accuse you of being a s*x offender or may accuse you of other serious offences.

These scams are designed to cause people to feel panicked, pressured, and appalled and to force you into clicking on links, opening attachments, or providing other personal information.

First and foremost, as a police service we will NEVER notify you via email that you have been accused or charged with a criminal code offence.

Please call our police service if you receive an email that claims to be from law enforcement. We will assist you in determining the validity of the email.

-LPS received a report of an email scam

-LPS received (3) suspicious persons/vehicle/activity reports

-LPS received (2) abandoned vehicle reports

-LPS received a complaint under the To***co and Vapour Products Control Act

-LPS provided assistance during an impaired operation of a motor vehicle file

-LPS received a complaint of telecommunications harassment

-LPS responded to (3) business alarm calls

-LPS responded to a 911 Panic alarm from a motor vehicle

-LPS received (2) traffic/ driving complaints

-LPS received a report of a two vehicle motor vehicle collision (Reported for insurance purposes)

-LPS responded to a motor vehicle collision with injuries. We would like to thank all responders for their quick response and professionalism including Kerrobert Fire & Rescue, Kerrobert EMS, and all volunteer responders on scene)

-LPS responded to an assault with a weapon call for service

-LPS arrested a 34 year old female following a call for service of a suspicious person. Upon responding to the scene, the female was confirmed to be wanted out of the Saskatoon Police Service.
