Lytton Chinese History Museum The Lytton Chinese History Museum will bring recognition to the early Chinese influence in Lytton and the Fraser and Thompson Canyons of British Columbia.

The Lytton Chinese History Museum works to encourage a greater understanding of the experiences and contributions of thousands of Chinese miners, railway workers, merchants and farmers in the BC Interior.

This Chinese Shiwan "Mudman" figure, stamped "CHINA" on the base, is believed to have been widely distributed at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair in St. Louis, Missouri. While these figures are generally not of high monetary value, they hold historical significance because the 1904 exposition marked China's first official participation in a major international world's fair, introducing Chinese arts and crafts to a broad international audience.
