UPDATE! Road is repaired. Culvert is in! Safe travels!

💥 11:30am Wednesday May 27 💥

Road closed 11:30am - 1:30pm to complete culvert replacement

🚫TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE 🚫

(Wait Times may vary)

5.25km on the Finlay FSR just south of Tsay Keh will be closed temporarily 1-2 hour wait as they are replacing a culvert there. Ditching and gravelling.

There will be a dump truck and possibly a rock truck hauling gravel from Tsay Keh 13.5km to 5.25km on the Finlay FSR.

Good evening!

The highway PG to Mack was clear and basically dry.

Lower end of the FSR is ROUGH and SOUPY 102 down to Mack

102km gets a lil more compact ice and snow with melting.

176 up it toughens up real nice.

45km on Chunnamon up is smooth sailing to TK. Some icy spots.

Good morning! Road conditions were pretty good last night. Some rough spots but overall good.

Still a bit icy from TK to 170km mostly corners. Lower end of Chunnamon and lower end of Finlay closer to Mackenzie has some slick areas/corners.

2 deep ice holes to watch for:

34.5 km Chunnamon
141km Finlay

It was snowing yesterday so there maybe snow on the lower end of FSR closer to Mack now.

Highway to PG is snowy.

Hello everyone!

FSR from Tsay Keh to PG as of last night.

Roads are actually pretty darn good but as the weather continues to stay warm we know what happens.

13.5km Finlay - 0km Swanell is good

Be very careful at 97km, 96km, 95km - 93km Chunnamon are pretty slick areas.

92km Chunnamon all the way to 102km is good with some slippery spots

102km down is water on top of ice and compact snow. It was slick but not bad.

Heavy fog last night started after 102km all the way to TK

Just a reminder also that there are logging trucks hauling from off the Osilinka down to Mackenzie. Not sure how many or their shift. And of course on logging trucks from multiple areas on the lower end of the FSR

The highway was wet and bare. Lots of big puddles and water pooling. A Good thing was I had seen 2 sanding trucks.

One heading south sanding corners late afternoon in preparartion for the highway freezing overnight. One heading north scraping the ice edge of the shoulder.
