Manitou and Community Pool

Manitou and Community Pool Open first Saturday in June until Sunday of the September Long weekend. We have 3 awesome water slides and 2 large shade structures to keep you cool.

Come on down for a visit! Manitou's swimming pool was completed in July of 2003. The facility boasts several leisure amenities, including:
- junior olympic (25m) main tank
- integrated wading pool
- zero dept beach entry
- aerated bubble bench
- three waterslides
"The Little Dipper" wide slide
"The Twister" 120 foot flume slide
"The Plunge" side by

side rocket slide
- geysers and fountains
- grass deck area
- large shade structure

The pool is open seven days a week from mid June to early September. Programs include Red Cross Preschool and Swim Kids Lessons, Lifesaving Society leadership courses, aquafit classes, adult/fitness swimming, public swimming, and swim team practices and competitions. The facility is also available for private rentals at a cost of $120/hr (including GST). Good morning everyone!

We have made the tough decision to make a new Facebook account for our pool! We were unable to gain access back into our old account but luckily we were able to save the memories spanning from all the way back to 2014! (Swipe to see some gooders!)

Registration for our local swim team, the Manitou Stingrays, will be available on-line along with our swimming lesson registration, for all of those are interested in joining!

This is the perfect way for individuals (ages 5-17) to improve their swimming techniques, and to stay physically active throughout the summer.

Swimmers may choose to join one of two clubs that we offer: the pre-competitive (younger)and the Competitive Club (older) !
To be eligible for our younger club, swimmers must have passed Red Cross Swim Kids Level 3 and for our older club, swimmers must have passed Red Cross Swim Kids level 5!

Details are still being finalized when it comes to the Summer Swim Meet Schedule, along with the specific times clubs will be meeting, ETC. Our website will be updated as soon as possible! Thank you for your patience !
