This is what it looks like to .
Year to date the Manning Municipal Library has mailed 512 free books to children through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.
Behind every book is a community of people who believe in the power of giving—our donors, volunteers, local partners and supporters who help make this program possible.
On September 25, Give Like Dolly Day, you can help us reach even more children and families in the County of Northern Lights. Every gift helps us continue building a community where children can grow up surrounded by the joy of books and reading.
Help us make an even bigger impact on children's lives in our community and surrounding areas by clicking the link and checking the box "I would like to designate this donation to a specific Imagination Library Local Program Partner" and finding our local affiliate. https://donate.imaginationlibrary.com/

Give Like Dolly Day is coming September 25!

Dolly Parton believed in giving back and helping children dream bigger—and this year, we’re celebrating that spirit through Give Like Dolly Day.

On September 25, we’re inviting communities all over the world to join us in giving back to children by supporting your local Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program. Your support helps make it possible for the children in your community to receive a free, high-quality book every month from birth to age 5.

Today, we remember Dolly Parton and her incredible love of books and children. 📚❤️

Through Dolly’s Imagination Library, countless children have received the gift of a book each month, helping inspire a lifelong love of reading and learning.

We are grateful to have been part of sharing that gift with our community. Dolly’s legacy will live on in every child who discovers the joy of a story, turns a page, and dreams a little bigger because of a book.

Thank you, Dolly, for believing that every child deserves a book. Your love of reading will continue to make a difference for generations to come. 🌟📖

The Libby app team is saddened to hear of the passing of Dolly Parton.

Dolly was a beloved artist and cultural icon, but perhaps just as importantly, she was a lifelong champion of literacy and the belief that everyone deserves access to books. Through the Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, she helped put books into the hands of children in communities across the globe and inspired generations of young readers to discover the joy of reading.

Today, we’re taking a quiet moment to read in Dolly’s memory and to celebrate the incredible legacy she leaves behind.
