Martensville Library The Martensville Library is one of 45 branches of the Wheatland Regional Library.

The Martensville Library, a branch of the Wheatland Regional Library, is located in Martensville, SK; one of the fastest growing cities in Western Canada. The Martensville Library provides access to a wide variety of library materials, programs and computer/internet access in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Our goal is to promote love of reading, literacy and life-long learning to all members of our community and surrounding area.

Registration is now open for our June Community Art Night on Thursday, June 18th at 6:30 PM. The project for this night is a mandala dot art flower pot.

The Regional Park Pass program is back for 2026. The program runs from May 15 to September 8th, 2026. Visit your local library to borrow a pass to cover your park entry fee.

Things to know:
- Patrons must have a valid library card to check out the pass.
- Passes are first come first serve - they cannot be set aside for people.
- Non-holdable/non-requestable.
- Loan period is 7 days, this cannot be extended.
- Passes must be returned to the library they were borrowed from.
- Passes are for the park entry fee only - camping fees, firewood and other permits are not included.

The Martensville Library Board is conducting a library survey to get input from the community, and local area, on our library, as it is, and ideas for the future of the library.

Opinions and input from all community members are needed - regular library patrons, infrequent library users and non-library users.

The survey will be available online from May 15 - June 15, 2026.

Blast off into a space themed Wiggles & Giggles Toddler Story & Play Time on Friday, May 29th at 10:30 AM as the Martensville Library.

This is a free program for ages 1-3 and their caregivers. The program focuses on short stories, songs and motion that help young kids learn and grow. There is play and socialization time following the program.

(The program is geared for ages 1-3, but younger or older siblings are welcomed to attend.)
