Swing by the Mattawa Volunteer Firefighters Association BBQ during Voyageur Days this weekend! We’ll be serving up delicious burgers, hot dogs, chips, and cold drinks while raising funds to support our local firefighters and the work they do in our community.

🚒 STUDENT VOLUNTEERS WANTED! 🚒

Looking for a way to get involved in your community, meet new people, and earn community service hours?

The Mattawa Volunteer Firefighters Association is looking for student volunteers to help with events throughout the year! From car washes and hockey tournaments to parades, community events, and everything in between, there’s always a way to lend a hand and make a difference.

Volunteering is a great opportunity to:
✅ Give back to your community
✅ Learn about the fire service
✅ Earn community service hours for school
✅ Build leadership and teamwork skills
✅ Be part of something bigger than yourself

That’s a wrap on this year’s Annual Hockey Tournament! 🏒A huge thank you to all the teams who came out to compete, the spectators who filled the stands, and everyone behind the scenes who helped make this incredible weekend possible. Your support, energy, and sportsmanship are what make this event so special each year. 🙌Congratulations to The Chiefs for bringing it home and winning the Annie Lamont Memorial Cup for the second year in a row! 🏆👏We appreciate everyone who was part of the weekend and can’t wait to do it all again.See you next year! ❄️🏒
